Unpacking

Please be careful when opening your box and unpacking your Foamie softboard. Do not use a razor blade or knife to open the box, as this may damage the Foamie softboard.

To open the box, carefully remove the tape and open from the tail end. You will find a box attached to the inside of the flap that contains: three fins and a fin key.  

Foamie Everyday Series Fin Installation

Three fin boxes already installed into your Foamie softboard. Note that all fin foil designs are equal and can be placed in any of the 3 pre-installed fin boxes.  To install the supplied fins insert the tabs of the fins into the fin box and tighten the stainless steel screw with the supplied fin key. Tighten by hand to avoid overloading and damaging the fins. 

To remove fins undo stainless steel screws with the supplied fin key and pull fins out. 

Foamie Fun Series Fin Installation

Three Screw-Through fins will be packed inside your shipping carton. Note that all fin foil designs are equal and can be placed in any of the 3 pre-manufactured hole. Installing screw-through fins requires a Phillips screwdriver or a coin. Insert the fin into the pre-drilled deck holes with the curved edge facing the tail. Place the screws into the top holes, pressing them firmly through the board, and using a screwing motion to engage with fins. Tighten by hand, or with the Phillips screwdriver or a coin until screw is flush with the deck, and fin is compressing slightly into the slick.

Attaching a Leash

Most leashes come with a leash rope. To attach a leash to your Foamie softboard insert one end of the leash rope into one side of the installed plug, pull through so the leash rope is attached to the plug and leash. Fix in place with an overhand loop knot.
